A RESOLUTION OF TAE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS TO THE LYNWOOD
JUNIOR CHANiBER OF COMMERCE FOR ADVERTISING,
PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as followa:
Section l : An agreement exists between the City of
Lynwood and the Lynwood Junior Chamber of Commerce to which
this resolution is a part and is referred to as "Fxhibit A."
The purpose of this exhibit is to establish a budget and method
of payment to the Junior Chamber in exchange for advertising,
promotion and publicity of the city.
Section 2 c There is appropriated from the General
Fund of the city a total of $1,200 which is the maximum that '
will be paid for advertising, promotion and publicity by Junior
Chamber is fiscal 1g65-66. Tnis sum will be allocated as follows:
a. �600 on or about September 1, 1965
b. 600 on or about March l, 1966
said allocation being subject to the quarterly statement and
payback stipulations contained in the agreement.
Section 3 : A definitive budget indicating anticipat-
ed items of expenditure is outlined below:
a. Fourth of July $ 450
b. Operation Santa Claus 250
c. Miss Lynwood Contest 300
d. Jr. Champ Youth Project 150
e. Approved Miscellaneous 50.
Junior Chamber may not exceed the amount allocated for any one
item hereinabovec�scribed without prior written approval of
the City Manager.. ,
' Sec.tion .4 : This exhibit resolution shall terminate
on June 30, 1g66.
