. Council'.from July 20, 1g65 to August 3, 1965 at 7:30 p.m.,,£or ��
hearing protests on the proposed annexation of certain territory
known as Atlantic Avenue �Annexation'No. 6," a large number of �
persons desiring to hear and be heard has appeared at said'Council
' Chambers, and • .. � � ,'
•,WHEREAS, the space and facilities of said chambers is
, insuf£icient to accommodate_ all o£ said persons, and
� � WHEREAS, the Chief of.the City Fire Department and Deputy,
` StaEe Fire Marshal have notified the City CounciL that"they cannot
� permit crowds to assemble in ha11s of the�City Hall in such numbere,.
and . . - � . . .. , . .
. WHEREAS, an emergency exists due to the riumber of persons
attending said hearing, requiring the continuance of the�hearing
' outside the'Council Chambers, and � ,
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized by Ordinance No.
766 to adjourn meetings of the City Council to s,ome,place outside the
. • Chambers,of the City Hall, and . •
• � WHEREAS, Bateman Hall in.the Community Service Building, `
- 11331 Ernestine Avenue, is convenient and of suf£icient capa'city to
', • accommodate the persons desiring to hear and be heard;'
; NOW,,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: ' ` • . '..

' hereb,y order a said meeting be adjourned. and continued'to said

'an employee of the city on duty in tlie Couri'cil Chambers to direct and
� instruct any and all persons who come to the Council Chambers that
�� said�meeting and hearing is being held in said Bateman Hall. �,
