INITIATION
CITY COUNCIL AND COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA
JOINT SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 3, 2003
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor /Chairman Gillanders called the Joint City Council and Community Redevelopment
Agency Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT:
ABSENT:.
Councilman /Agency Member - Souder, Wilson, Gillanders
Councilman - Zovak, Vizcarra
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager /Executive Director Cole, City Attorney /Agency Counsel
Martin, City Clerk/Agency Secretary Flandrick
Councilman /Agency Member Souder moved to excuse Councilmen /Agency Members Zovak
and Vizcarra for cause, seconded by Councilman /Agency Member Wilson and unanimously
carried.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS — None
4. CLOSED SESSION
At 7:01 p.m. the City Council and the Community Redevelopment Agency recessed to closed
session for the purpose stated below.
Purpose: consideration of real property negotiations
Property: located in Temple City Shopping Center (northwest corner of
Rosemead /Las Tunas)
Authority: Government Code Section 54956.8
Negotiating Party: City Manager /Executive Director
Negotiating With: Property Owner(s) and /or Representatives
Under Negotiation: Methodology, price and terms
Representatives: City Manager /Executive Director, City Attorney /Agency Counsel
RECONVENE
At 7:07 p.m. the City Council and Community Redevelopment Agency reconvened with all
members present except Councilmen /Agency Members Zovak and Vizcarra.
CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
City Manager /Executive Director Cole stated the City Council and Community Redevelopment
Agency Members directed the City Manager /Executive Director and the City Attorney /Agency
Counsel to enter into negotiations with the property owner and proposed tenants of the subject
property.

5. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council and Community Redevelopment Agency Meeting was adjourned at 7:08
p.m. to Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.
