SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On November 6, 2008 GIS fees were adopted for the production of maps in Resolution 08-21. Due to
increased request for copies of aerial photos, staff identified the need for a fee to reproduce those photos
that had not been identified in Resolution 08-21. The current custom mapping fee of $20/hour does not
account for the time and materials for the service, the increase to $45/hour will cover those costs.
Notice of the additional fee for the aerial photos and the change of the fee for the custom mapping was
published in The Star News, on September 22 and 29, 2011. The attached Resolution 11-16 replaces
Resolution 08-21 and reflects the changes to the hourly rate for custom mapping and adds a fee for the
reproduction of aerial photos.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 11-16 establishing updated GIS fees and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
