Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.00-33
RESOLUTION VACATING DRAINAGE AND
UTILITY EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota authorized the
Administrator -Clerk -Treasurer to cause notice of a hearing regarding the vacation of the for
drainage and utility easements on either side of the north - south line between Lot 1, Block 1 and
Lot 2, Block 1 Lookout, and the drainage and utility easements on the north, east, and west line
of Outlot A, Lookout, Hennepin County, Minnesota to be published in the official newspaper at
least two weeks prior to the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the notice of said public hearing was published on July 6, in the official
newspaper and was posted in the area of the affected property; and
WHEREAS, on this date, the city council held the public hearing on the vacation of the
described drainage utility and street easements, at which public hearing all interested parties were
heard with respect to said vacation, and the city council determined that the vacation of said
easements to be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota as follows:
1. The city council hereby declares that the drainage and utilities easements legally described
on Exhibit A attached hereto are vacated.
2. The Administrator -Clerk -Treasurer is authorized and directed to prepare and present to
Hennepin county the notice that the city council has completed these vacation proceedings
and request that the same be reflected in the county's records.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Smith and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None Absent: Zietlow
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
