Directing the City Manager to reserve every Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM to meet with
Commissioner Pinder to discuss official City business.
As an elected official, commissioners represent the general concerns of their constituents. The
constituency runs the spectrum from being primarily local residents to business and property owners.
The general concerns expressed by constituents to their elected officials oftentimes form the basis for
public policy that they seek to adopt. As such, the meetings with Commissioner Pinder will invariably
cover a broad range of subjects and more than likely lead to public policy considerations before the City
Commission.
Staff recommends approval as part of the strategic plan priorities.
