Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.00-39
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR TRUNK HIGHWAY
55/WILLOW DRIVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a traffic signal at the intersection of Trunk Highway
55 and Willow Drive and to assess benefited properties for all or part of the cost of the
improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that the proposed improvement to referred to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates
as consulting city engineer for study and that they be instructed to report to the city council with all
convenient speed, advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Johnson, Lane, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
