� RESOLUTION N0, 64-31
A RESOLUTIOSd OF THE CITY COUNCIL,OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING THE WORK APTD
LEVYING THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE MODIFICATION
OF A PORTION OF THE STREET LI�HTING SYSTEM ON LdNG
SEACH BOULEVARD IN_THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
` . BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City,of Lynwood�
as follows:
WI-LEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, Cali-'
fornia� did on the 7th day of April 1964 adopt Resolution No. 64-25
• fixing .th'e time and place for a hearing in th,e matter of Street
Lighting Modification Distriet No. 2 of the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, all interested persons were giVen full opportunity
to present their protests or objections, and
wHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the publication
' and posting of notice of said hearing in the time, form, and maruzer
� required by law,
NOW,THEREFORE, the said City Council; after due considera= .
tion of all such objections and protests, does hereby overrule and
deny any such protests and ob�jections and each of them to the work
or improvement to be done within said Street Lighting Modification
District No, 2 as described in Resolution of Intention No."64-21 of
� said City and to the proposed assessment therefor; and does hereby
confirm and adopt as a whole, unmodified, the assessment and report
as described in said Resolution of Intention No. 64-21, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest � d
convenienee demands and requires and this City Council does hereby
� order the said contemplated improvement to be made in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor, adopted and approved,
� and the City Council does hereby levy the said proposed assessment
� made to cover the costs and expenses of said improvement upon the
9 respective subdivisions of land in said district and as fixed by

the proposed report and assessment heretofore filed in the office of
the City Clerk, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of
Lynwood is hereb� ordered to transmit to the County of�Los Angeles
' Tax Collector the diagram and assessmen£' upon which such leVy is
based and said Countg Tax Collector is hereby authorized and
direeted to make collections of all such assessments, and to per£orm
all the aets and duties as are required of said act to be performed
by the persons designated as "Tax Collector" in Chapter 6'of the
Street Lighting Act of 1g19 as amended.
