HomeMy Public PortalAbout64-050 (07-07-64) .d � . . �" RESOLUTION N0 64-50 RESOLUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION OF THE FIRST ALLEY EAST OF ALAMEDA STREET BETWEEN CENTURY BOULEVARD AND 108TH STREET IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did on the jrd day of 'June 1g64 adopt Resolution No 64-43 declaring its intention to vacate the first alley east of Alameda Street between Century Boulevard and 108th Street in the City of Lynwood, as herein- after described, and WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and posted in the time, form, and manner required by law, and WHEREAS, one protest was made at said hearing to said proposed vacation of said alley, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, as follows: Section 1, That the £ollowing described alley is unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and it is hereby ordered that the following described alley in the City of Lynwood, California, be vacated and abandoned: That portion of the first alley east of Alameda Street lying between the southerly line of Century Boulevard (100 ft wide) and. the northerly line of 108th Street (formerly 2nd Street), as shown on Tract 5418, Map Book 59 , Page 42, Records of Los Angeles County, Section 2, That the City of Lynwood reserves an easement in, over, or upon said above described property for the construction, erection, and/or maintenance therein of public utilities, , Section 3, That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of ea'id order to be recorded in the offic �of he Recorder of Los � Angeles County, Dated this 7th day of July 1964.
