RESOLUTION No. 64-52 '
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR ADVERTISING,
PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as followss
-.Section 1:_ An_agreement.exists between the City of
Lynwood and the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce to which this resolution
is a part and is referred to as "Exhibit A." The purpose of' this
exhibit is to establish a budget and method of payment to the
Chamber in exchange for advertising, promotion and publicity of
tne city. It is the City Council's desire that strict attention
be paid to all facets of said agreement especially those of
Section 2 which refer to gaining permission for "approved"
advertising and "misleading" advertising.
Section 2: There is appropriated from the General Fund
of the city a total of �8,280 which is the maximum that will Ue
paid for advertising, promotion and publicity in�fiscal 1g64-65.
This money will be allocated at the rate of $6g0 per month
beginning on or about July l, 1964 and continuing to be paid on
or about the first day of each month for the remaining twelve
months of the fiscal year, subject to the audit and pay-back
stipulations contained in the agreement.
Section 3; A definitive budget indicat9.ng anticipated
items of expenditures is.:outlined below. Maximum salary in
relation to revenues has been provided, but under no circumstances
will such administrative costs e�eed 20� of all revenues from
whatever source collected and e.xpended for city advertising and
publicity.

" Chamber may not exceed the amount allocated for any one
item described under the general heading "Advertising and Publicity°"
without prior written approval of the City Manager. Under no
circumstances may expenditures for administrative costs exceed the
amount established by the City Council.
� Section 4 : This exhibit resolution shall terminate on
June 30, 1g65.
