RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES LYING ON THE EAST SIDE OF FIRST AVENUE
BETWEEN FERNWOOD AVENUE AND JOSEPHINE STREET
(FERNWOOD AVENUE ANNEXATION N0, 3).
WHEREAS, the City Couneil of the City of Lynwood did, by
Resolution No 64-55 adopted on the 21tit day of Ju1y 1964 duly
give notice of and fixed the 4th day of August 1964 at the hour of
7:j0 p.m, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11330 Bu11is Road,
Lynwood, California, as the day, hour and place when and where any
person owning real property within the city who does not aleo own
property in the territory to be annexed and having any objections
to the proposed annexation mi�ht appear before said City Council and
show cause why such territory should not be so 'annexed, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No 64-55 was published in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the day, hour and
place and in the manner as set fbrth in said Resolution No 6�+-55 and
WHEREAS, no person owning real property within the city who
does not also own property in the territory to be annexed appeared
before the City Council to show cause tiahy such territory should not
be so annexed, .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t11e
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section l . That the City Council does hereby approve said
proposed annexation of the unincorporated territory of the County of
Los Angeles lying on the east side of First Avenue between Fernwood
Avenue and Josephine Street, known as "Fernwood Avenue Annexation

No. 3," and more particularly described in said Resolution No,
64-55.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of August 1g64.
