R'ULES, TO PROVIDE ADDTTIONAL SICK LEAVE BENEFTTS, `

The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows;
Section l, It is �he policy of the city to provide sick
leave with pay to all classified employees as a fringe benefit. The
intent is now to extend the maximum allowable accrued time from
ninety (90) working days to one hundred twenty (120) working days,
Paragraph 1, Section 2, Rule XI of Resolution No. 2843 is, therefore,
amended to read:
"Section 2. Sick Leave: Sick leave with pay shall be
granted by the City Manager at the rate of one w�rk day for each
calendar month of service, Sick leave shall not be considered as
, a privilege which an employee may_use at his discretion, but shall
be allowed only in case of necessity and actual sickness or disability,
Unused sick leave shall be accumulated at the rate of twelve days a
year to a total of not more than one hundred twenty (120) working days,"
First read at a regular• meeting of the City Council of said
city held on the 21st day of July 1964 and finally adopted at a
regular meeting o£ said Council held o. e 4th day of August 1964
