RESOLUTION N0. 6 4-63
IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF I,OS FLORES
BOULEVARD, RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF
DEBT LIMITATION REPORT.
The City Council o£ the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve a.s follows:
(1) Tha.t the public interest, convenience and
necessity require, and the City Council of the City of Lynwood
proposes to institute proceedings for the improVement hereina,fter
set forth:
(2) Tha,t the genera,l na,ture, loca.tion, and extent of
such proposed improvement is as follows: The remova,l of existing
curb a.nd gutter, widening by construction of concrete curbs and
gutters and drive approaches on Los Flores Boulevard between the
east side of Long Beach Boulevard and Imperial Highway.
(3) It is hereby further determined that the City
Council of the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under a.nd in -
a,ccordance with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
Sta,te of California which is lrnown a.s the Special Assessment
Investiga,tion, Limita.tion and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as
amended. It is hereby further determined that said City Council
proposes to conduct the proceedings for said proposed work or
improvement under a,n a.ct of the Legislature of the State of
Ca.lifornia lmown and designated as the "Improvement Act of lgll",
a,s amended.
(4) The boundary or extent of the a.ssessment district
to be assessed to pay the costs and e�penses of said improvement
is shown on Plan No. 196'�=E-1, on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, which shall govern for all details a.s to the
extent of sa,id a,ssessment district.

(5) That the City Engineer be a�nd he is hereby directed

to prepare and deliver to sa,id City Counci'1 a written report
, covering said work or improvement in accorda,nce with the provisions
of sa,id "Specia.l Assessment Investigation, Limitat'ion and Majority
Protest Aet oi 1931", a.s amended.
APPROVED a,nd ADOPTED this 4th day o£ August 1964.
