RESOLUTION N0. 64-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tf� CITY OF
LYNW00D, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A ME!�'fBER OF SAID
COUNCIL OF 5�42D CITY TO THE CITY SELECTION
COMMIT�EE PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 10 OF
THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, does
hereby resolve as follows;
Section l. That pursuant to the Souther:i California Rapid
Transit District Law,.being Part 3 of Division 10 of the Public
Utilities Code, Nickolas A. Siokos, a member of said City Council, is
hereby appointed as a member of the City Selection Committee.
Section 2.' That the within Resolution shall become
operative and the appointment made by Section 1 hereof shall be
ef£ective on August 24 1964.
Section j . That immediately after the effective date of
the appointment hereby made, the City Clerk shall forward a certified
copy of this Resolution, together with notice of the appointment made
hereby, to the Secretary of State, and after the Southern California
Ra.pid Transit District has a Secretary, also to the Secretary of such
District.
S'ection 4, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, shall cause the action of the City Council in adopting
the same to be entered in the official minutes of said City Council,
and shall retain this Resolution, duly signed and executed by the
proper city officials, in the o££icial records of said city.
