RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COWiCIL OF THE CITY OF'
\
LYNWOOD WITFIDRAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND ANNFXED
TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
L�HEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
� of certain lands,as hereinafter described, to said City of Lynwood,
and
WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does provide fire protection
to said areas of land, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 12, Part 3, Chapter 2, Article 11, provides that whenever
any portion of a fire protection district is included within a city
by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council o£ the
City of Lynwood that the following described areas of land be and the
same are hereby declared withdrawn from said Consolidated Fire
I Protection District of Los Angeles County:

Atlantic Avenue Annexation No. 5 756 July 21 1g64
Beginning at a point of intersection of the Lynwood City
Boundary, as said boundary existed this 17th day of
January 1964 with the westerly prolongation of the
southerly line o£ Cortland Avenue, j0 feet wide, as shown
on map of Tract No. 6728, recorded in Book 125, pages lg
' and 20 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of Los
Angeles County, State of California; thence, easterly
along.:said prolongation to the intersection of the westerly
line of Virginia Avenue, 24.1 feet wide, as shown on map
of said Tract No. 6728; thence northerly and westerly
along the boundary of said Tract No. 6728 to the inter-
section of the centerline o£ Virginia Avenue, 60 feet
wide as shown on map of said Tract No. 6728 �hence,
northerly along said centerline to the intersection of
the easterly prolongation o£ the northerly line o£ Lot 54
of said Tract No. 6728; thence, westerly along said
easterly prolongation and northerly line and its westerly
prolongation to the intersection o£ the Lyntiaood City
Boundary as said boundary existed this 17th day of
. January 1964s thence, southerly along said boundary to the
point of beginning.

Fernwood Avenue Annexation No. 3 757 August 10, 1964
Beginning at �he intersection of the westerly pro-
longation of the northerly line of Lot 9 of Tract
No. 8716 as shown on map recorded in Book 145, pages
63 and 64 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of
the County of Los Angeles, with the center line of
First Avenue, 60 feet wide, as shown on said map;
thence southerly along said center line to the
westerly prolonga�ion of the southerly'line of said
lot; thence easterly in a direct line through the
southeasterly corner of said lot to the boundary o£
the City o£ Lynwood. as same existed on February 26,
1g64 (in the first alley westerly of;Atlantic Avenue);
thence northerly and westerly along said boundary to
the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
and ordered to file copies o£ this resolution with the State Board
of Equalization, County:Board of Supervisors, County Clerk, and
,=County Assessor.
