RESOLUTION N0 64-75
. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
, LYNWOOD REQUESTING WITFIDRAWAL OF CERTAIN AREAS
OF LAND ANNEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED
SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
. WI-IEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of certain areas of land as hereinafter described, to said Citiy of
. Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, the 5tate of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 5, Part 3, Chapter 4, Article 7, provides that whenever any
portion o£ a district is included within a citJ by reason of annexa-
tion, such por.tion may be withdrawn from the district by request of
the City Council,
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of Los -
_ Angeles County to exclude £rom the District those portions of the
Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District lying within the following
' described areas of land; .

Beginning at.a point of intersection of the Lvnwood
City Boundary, as said boundary.existed this 17th
day of January •1g64 with the westerly•prolongation
of the southerly line of Cortland Avenue, 30 feet
wide, as shown on map of TracL No. 6728, recorded
. in Book 125, pades 19 and 20 of Maps, in the office
of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of
California; thence, easterly along said prolongation
' to the intersection of the westerly line of Virginia
Avenue, 24.1 feet wifle, as shown on map of said Tract
• No. 6728; thence northerly and westerly along the
' Uoundary of said Trac No. 6728 to the intersection
of the centerline of Virginia Avenue, 60 feet wide
ae shown on map of said Tracz NoF. 6728;'thence, "�'
. northerly along said centerline to the intersection of
the easterly prolongation of thelnortherly line of Lot
. 54 of said Tract No. 6728; thence, westerly along said
easterly prolongation and northerly line and its
westerly prolongation to the intersection of Lhe Lynwood
City Boundary as said boundary exis�ed this 17th da�
of January, 1g64 thence, southerly along said boundary
to the point of beginning. �

Fernwood Avenue Anne�ation No. j 757 August 10, 1964
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly pro-
longation of the northerly line of Lot 9 of Tract
No. 8716 as shown on map recorded in Book 145, pages
63 and 64 0£ Maps, in the of.fice of the Recorder o£
the County of Los Angeles, with the Center line of
First Avenue, 60 feet wide, as.shown on said map;
thence southerly along said center line to the
westerly prolongation of the southerly line of said
lot; thence easterly in a direct line through the
southeasterly corner o£ said lot to the boundary of
the City of Lynwood as same existed on February 26,
1964 (in the first alley westerly of Atlantic Avenue);
thence northerly and westerly along said boundary to
' the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHUR''RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
ordered to file a copy o£ this resolution with the Board of Supervisors
of Los Angeles County.
