RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

LYNWOOD WITFIDRAWING�CERTAIN ARE�S OF LAND ANNEXED
TO SAID CITY OF LYNWOOD FROM THE 9THENS LIGHTING
DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of I,ynwood has completed the annexation

of certain are�s of land to said City of Lynwood, as hereinafter

described, and �
_� WHEREAS, the State of California Streets and Highways Code,
Division 14, Part 4, Chap'ter 16 of the Highwa;r Lighting District Act
provides that whenever any portion o£.a district is included within
a city by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from
the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described area� of land lying within
� said Athens Lighting District of Los Angeles County be, and the same
are hereby declared withdravan from said district:

Beginning at a point of ihtersection of the Lynwood City
, boundarJ, as said boundary existed this 17th day of
, January., 1g64 with the weeterly prolongation of the
southerly line of Cortland Avanue, 30 feet wide, as
shown on map of Tract No. 6728, recorded in Book 125,
' pages 19 and 20 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder
�• of Los Angeles County, State of California; thence, .
' easterly along said prolongation to the intersectiori
, of the westerly line of Virginia Avenue, 24.1 feet wide,
as shown on map of said Tract No. 6728; thence northerly
and westerly along the boundary of said Tz°act No. 6728
' to the inteisection of the centerline of Virginia Avenue,
60 £eet wide as shown on map of said Tract No. 6728
thence, northerly along said centerline to the inter-
seetion o£ the easterly prolongation of the northerly
