RESOLUTION NO. 16-9160
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, IMPOSING A FREEZE
ON OVERTIME UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY THE
CITY MANAGER OR UNTIL FURTHER ACTTION OF THE
CITY COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,The City is experiencing a financial challenge; and
WHEREAS,It is in the best interest of the City to impose a freeze on overtime
unless approved by the City Manager or until further action of the City
Commission.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. A freeze on overtime is hereby imposed unless otherwise
approved by the City Manager or until further action of the City Commission
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of February, 2016.
