RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
. LYNWOOD WITHDRAWING A CERTaAIN AREA OF L�ND '
ANNEXED TO SI�ID CITY FROM THE SOUTHEAST MOSQUITO
ABATEMENT DISTRICT OF I;OS ,FiNGELES COUNTY. �
,' WHEREAS, the City oP Lynwood�has completed the annexation
of a certain area of land, as hereinafter described, to said City of
LJnwood, and "
- WHEREAS, the State o£ California'Health arid Safetv Code,
Division 3, Chapter 5, Article 6.5, provides that whenever any portion
of a district is included within a city,by re,aaon of annexation, such
portion may be withdrawn Prom the district, and
WHEREAS; notice o£.iritention to withdraw said hereinafter
described area was given to the Southeaat Mosquito Abatement District,
pursuant to Section 2j50 of said Health and Safety Code,
� NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE:D by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described area of land be and the
_" same is-hereby declared withdrawn from said Southeast Mosquito 4�bate-
ment District:of Los Angeles County: •

Beginning at the intersection of the westerly pro-
' longation of the northerly line of Lot. 9 of Tract
No. 8716 as shown on map recorded in Book 145, pages
63 and 64 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of
", the County of Los Angeles, with the center line o£
First Avenue, 60 feet wide, as shown on said map;
thence southerly along said center line to the westerly
prolongation of the southerly line of said lot; thence
easterly in a direct line through the southeasterly
corner of said lot to the boundary of the City of Lynwood
�'. as same existed on February 26, 1964,(in the first alley
westerly of Atlantic Avenue); thence northerly and
westerly along�said boundary to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
, ordered to file copies of this resolution with the State Board of
Equali�ation, the.Southeast Mosquito Abatement District, and the
