A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF ANNEXA-
TION PROCEEDINGS (DUNCAN AVENUE ANNEXATION N0. 1):
WHEREAS, on October 20, 1 64 a re uest was
9, q made to the
Cit,y Council of the City of Lynwood to commence proceedings to annex
certain inhabited territory generally described as that which is
bounded by Wright Road on the east, first alley west of Duncan
Avenue on the west, the £irst alley south of Imperial Highway on
the north and Los Flores to Duncan, Elmwood to Wright Road on the
south, and
WHEREAS, said request was referred to the Planning
Commission for investigation and report, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the lOth day of
November, 1964 submit to the City Council its report,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that consent is hereby
granted for the commencement of proceedings for annexation of said
area, in accordance with the Annexation Act of 1913, said area to
be designated as "Duncan Avenue Annexation No, l."
