HomeMy Public PortalAbout16-9161 Expenditure Analysis of all Expenses Paid on the Forty Million Dollar Florida Revolving Loan Sponsored by: Commissioner Pinder RESOLUTION NO. 16-9161 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT TO THE CITY COMMISSION AN EXPENDITURE ANALYSIS OF ALL EXPENSES PAID ON THE FORTY MILLION DOLLAR ($40,000,000.00) FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REVOLVING LOAN FUND PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission has a duty to remain informed about the City's expenditures; and WHEREAS, In an effort to remain informed, the City Commission is in need of a report that analyzes and details the expenditures charged against the $40,000.000.00 Florida Department of Environmental Protection Revolving Loan Fund Program; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has a duty to remain informed about the City's expenditures and believes it to be in the best interest of the City to direct the reporting regarding said expenditures to be presented for its review. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to submit to the Commission a report that analyzes and details the expenditures charged against the Forty Million Dollar ($40,000,000.00) Florida Department of Environmental Protection Revolving Loan Fund Program. Resolution No. 16-9161 Section 3. The report shall be submitted to the City Commission with thirty (30) days of the effective date of the resolution. Section 4.
