RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD WITHDRAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND
ANNEXED Tp SAID CITY OF LYNWOOD,FROM THE

ATHENS LIGHTING DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,

. WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
' of certain areas of latid to said City of Lynwood, as hereinafter
described, and
W`rIEREAS, the State of California Streets and Highways Code,
Division 14, Part 4, Chapter 16 of the Highway Lighting District Act
provides that whenever any portion of a district is included within a
citv by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the
district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described areas of land lying with-

same are hereby declared withdrawn from said district;

Beginning at a point in the northerly line of the Lynwood
City boundary as said boundary existed on August 30, 1962,
� said point being distant North 71 West 772.06 feet and
South 19 15`r West 464,50 feet from the northeast corner
of Lot 2, J. J. Bullis Tract as shown on map recorded in
' Book 3, pages 612 and 613 of Miscellaneous Records of'Los
An�eles County, State of California; thence North 19 15��'
East 464.5o feet to the intersection of the center line
„ of Lavinia Avenue, 60 feet wide, being the northerly line
of Lot 2 of said tract; thence South 71 East 303,26 feet
along said center line of Lavinia Avenue; thence South 19
15ti West 464,50 feet to the intersection of the easterly
prolongation of the said northerly Lynwood city boundar�;

more or less, from the southwest corner of Lot 8,
Tract No: 8716 as shown on map 'recorded in Book 145,

being also the intersection of said southerly line with
the northerly prolongation of the center line of First

said prolongation, said south line of Lot 8 and the
westerly prolongation of the•south line of said Lot 8

the center.line of First Avenue, 60 feet wid.e, as shown
on said tract map; thence North 19 East 138 feet along said
last mentioned center line to the point of beginning,
BE IT FURTFIER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
ordered to file copies of this resolution with the State Board of
Equalization, the County Board of Supervisors, and the County Assessor,
