AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM REID HOSPITAL
WHEREAS, Reid Hospital has grant funding available for various social services; and
WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service (hereinafter “WPS”) of the City of RichmondDepartment of Parks and Recreation desires to submit a grant application in order to assist with the publication
of its newsletter.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The WPS is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to Reid Hospital for assistance with the publication of its newsletter.
The WPS is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Three Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-one Dollars ($3,581.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the WPS, shall be appropriated for the publication of its newsletter.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of February 1998, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
