CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.01-04
RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL OF THE
PLAT OF WETTERSTROM ADDITION
WHEREAS, Derek Wetterstrom and Stacey Wetterstrom (the "Applicants") are the fee
owners of land in Medina located at 1495 Medina Road and legally described on Exhibit A attached
hereto (the "Subject Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicants have previously received preliminary approval to plat the
Subject Property into a single lot; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants have applied for final approval of the plat of Wetterstrom
Addition; and
WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the staff and city council for compliance
with the ordinances of the city and the terms and conditions of preliminary plat approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that final approval be granted to the Applicants for the plat of Wetterstrom Addition,
subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The location of the new driveway must be approved by city staff prior to issuance of
a building permit for the new house;
2. The existing septic system site must be abandoned by the Applicants in accordance
with the requirements of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency;
3. The city recognizes that the Applicants intend to retain the existing well but if the
well is hereafter abandoned, it must be abandoned in accordance with the
requirements of the Minnesota Department of Health;
4. The parties recognize that the parcel created by this plat is a conforming lot pursuant
to section 826.25, subd. 3 of the Medina code of ordinances;

5. The Applicants must pay the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to
reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and
6. The Applicants must file the plat with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date
of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Phil
Zietlow and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Lane, Smith, Workman, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Township 118, Range 23.
ALSO: That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 14, Township 118,
Range 23 lying East of the West 583 feet thereof and Southerly of the centerline of
Medina Township Road No. 48.
ALSO: That part of the West 214.5 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4, Section
