RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABA'I`E DRX AND DRYING
WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD,
WI�REAS, Chapter lj of the Government Code, cited as
� "Weed and Rubbish Abatement" provides for abatement of dry and drying
weeds that constitute a public nuisance, and
WI�REAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood by the Superintendent of Streets that
there exists a public nuisance on certain parcels of land in the
City o£ Lynwood, as hereinafter more particularly described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
1, That a public nuisanee exists upon the parcels of land,
lots, or portions of lots set forth below;
Modjeska Acres: Lot 5, 6, 9, 16, 25, 26 and 64.
. Belle Vernon Acres; Lots 21 anc3 24 of Block 15,
Tract No. 3025; Lots 1029, 1030, 1031, 1042, 1088 and 1176,

3. That the proceedings for aforesaid work shall be taken
under an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated
as the Government Code, Chapter lj, Seczions 39501 et seq „ cited as
"Wee� and Rubbish Abatement, and amendments thereto,
, 4, Notice is hereby giyen that on Tuesday, the 7th �
day of May 1963 at the hour of 7:j0 p,m „ in the Council Chambers
' of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City o£ Lynwood, any and
• all persons having any ob�ections or protests to said proposed work
may appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed
