RESOLUTION NO. 16-9181
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO CONDUCT A STUDY ON THE FISCAL
IMPACT THAT THE CANCELLATION (OR CREDIT) OF
COMMISSIONER PINDER'S TWO THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED DOLLAR ($2400.00) YEARLY ALLOCATION, AS
WELL AS HIS TRAVEL LINE ITEM, WOULD HAVE ON
THE CITY'S BUDGET FOR FY 2016-2017; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka is currently experiencing a financial
emergency; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Terence Pinder seeks to understand the fiscal
impact that the cancellation (or credit) of his Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollar
($2,400.00) yearly allocation, as well his travel line item, would have on the City's
budget for FY 2016-2017.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to conduct a
study of the fiscal impact that the cancellation (or credit) of Commissioner
Pinder's Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollar ($2400.00) yearly allocation, as
well as his travel line item, would have on the City's budget for FY 2016-2017.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
