RESOLUTION NO. 16-9182
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO STUDY THE FISCAL IMPACT THAT THE
RETURN OF COMMISSIONER TERENCE PINDER'S
CHEVROLET TAHOE WOULD HAVE ON THE CITY'S
BUDGET FOR THE 2016-2017 FISCAL YEAR; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka is currently experiencing a financial
emergency; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Terence Pinder seeks to understand the fiscal
impact that the return of his City-issued Chevrolet Tahoe would have on the City's
2016-2017 FY budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to study the
fiscal impact that the return of Commissioner Pinder's Chevrolet Tahoe
would have on the City's 2016-2017 FY budget and report the findings to the
Commission within thirty (30) days.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of April, 2016.
