' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
', LYNWOOb APPOINTING A MEMBER AND ALTERNATE MEM-
� 'BER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANI-
' TATION DISTRICT N0, 1 OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
' WHEREAS, the County Sanitation District Act, as amended
;_ by Statutes 1949, Chapter 882, contains the following provisions:
- That the governing body of a sanitation district is a
board of directors'of noC.less than�three,members, a member of the
governing body of each city, the whole or part of which is included
, in the sanitation district, is a member of the board, and
WI�REAS, County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles
County does include-ter.ritory o£ the City of �,ynwood,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that John D. Ham, a member
' of the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood, be and he is hereby
appointed to aerve as a member of the Board of Directors of County
- Sanitation District No. 1 of Los'Angeles County, and �
, , BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Arnold Finch, a member of the !
City Couneil of the City of Lynwood be, and he is hereby selected
and designated as an alternate member of the Board of Directors of
' County Sanitation District No, 1 of Los Angeles County, who shall be
, a memb,er o£ said Distr3ct Board to act in place of the presiding
'' officer of this City Council during his altsence, inability, or
refusal to act as such member of said District Board,
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of May 1g63.
