RESOLUTION NO. 16-9183
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO CONDUCT A STUDY ON THE
DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CITY-
OWNED WATER AND SEWER TREATMENT FACILITY;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City does not have a water and sewer treatment facility and
currently purchase the services from Miami-Dade County; and
WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of the City to study the feasibility of
constructing and developing its own water and sewer treatment facility.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to conduct a feasibility study
on developing and constructing the City's own water and sewer treatment
facility.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
