RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF
THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF BEECHWOOD AVENUE BETWEEN ,
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AND LYNWOOD CITY PARK BY CONSTRUCTION
OF CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, TOGETHER WITH ALL INCI-
DENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 3rd day of June 1g63 publicly open, examine and declare a
sealed proposal or bid for the following work to be done or improve-
ment to be made in said city, to wit: all that certain work and
improvement set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 63-26 passed
and adopted by the said City Council on the 2nd day of April 1g63
which Resolution of Intention is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, and is hereby referred to for a description of
said work or improvement, the boundaries of the district to be assessed
to pay the costs and expenses o£ said work and for Purther particulars,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that
it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except the next
herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
or improvement to the lowest, regular, responsible bidder, to wit:
Oswald Bros. Co, at the prices for said work or improvement named in
said bid, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
city and is hereby referred to for further particulars,
The City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to publish
notice o£ this award twice in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in said city, and hereby designated f'or that
purpose by this City Council.
