RESOLUTION N0. 63-53
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE IMPOSITION OF ADDITIONAL
HIGHWAY USERS TAXES AND b'EES PURSUANT TO ,
CHAPTER 1852 STATUTES OF 1g63
The'City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve a,s follows:
Section l . To comply with the provisions of Section 10.2
of the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act (Streets
and Highwa.ys Code Section 186.1) the City of Lynwood hereby I '
adopts a resolution approving the imposition of additional high-
way users taxes and fees pursuant to said Act.
Section 2 . Tne City desires apportionmenta to be made
to it in accordance with provisions of said Section of the Act
and is aware of the necessity of conforming to the matching require-
ments prescribed by Section 14 of said Act (Streets and Highways
Code Section 186.5).
Section 3 . All monies received by the City from the
Sta.te under the provisions of Section 10.2 of sa.id Act ehall be
pa.id into the Special Ga,s Tax Street Improvement Fund and expended
exelusively for a.cquisition of rights of way for and construction
of routes on the select system of city streets established as
provided in Section 12 of said Act (Streets a.nd Highways Code
Section 186.3).
Section 4 . In compliance with said Act the City Clerk
is directed to send a properly certified copy of this resolution
to the Department of Public Works a.t Sacramento, California.
