HomeMy Public PortalAbout63-056 (08-20-63) �� � RESOLUTION No. 63-56 A RESOLUTION OE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR ADVERTISING PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY. The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows: Section l: An agreement exists between the City of Lynwood and the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce to which this resolution is a part and is referred to as "Exhibit A." The purpose of this exhibit is to establish a budget and method of payment to the Chamber in exchange for advertising, promotion and publicity of the city. Section 2 : �here is appropriated £rom the General Fund of the city a total of $7,600 which is the maximum that will be paid for advertising, promotion and publicity in fiscal 1963-64. This money will be allocated at the rate of $690 per month beginning on or about August l, 1963 and continuing to be paid on or about the first day of each month for the remaining ten months of the fiscal year, subject to the audit and pay-back stipulations contained in the agreement. Section 3 : A definitive budqet indicating anticipated revenues and items of expenditure is outlined below_ Maximum salary in relation to revenues has been provided, but under no circumstances will such administrative costs exceed 20% o£ the total revenue collected and expended for city advertising and publicity. Fourth of July 800 Chamber may not exceed the amount allocated £or any one item described under the general heading "Advertising and Publicity." Recognizing first-year experience under this agreement, however, expenditures for any one item other than salary may exceed the amount indicated aPter prior written approval o£ the City Manager. i Section 4 : This exhibit resolution shall terminate on ��.�t ` June 30� 1964.
