A RESOLUI'ION OF THG CITY COUNCII, OF THI: CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMG'NDING THG CLASSIFICATION
�DLSCRIPTIONS OF VARIOUS SAFETY PERSONNEI;,
The City Council of the City o£ Lyrnrood does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1: Phat the Classification descriptions for Police Sergeant
and Fire �gineer be amended to read:
"Requirements - (Ser eant) �
1. At least two years total servi.ce as a patrolman
with the Lynwood Police Department,��
"Requirements - (En ineer)
- - 1. At-least twa 2 years total servica as a fir.eman .
yrith the Lynwood Fire Department.°
SECTION 2: That the classificaticn descriptions £or Police Lieutenant
and Fire Captain be amended to read:
"Requirements - (Lieutenant)
1. A minimum of £ive (5) years experience srith the
Lynwood Police Department AND at least two years in
grade as a police sergeant,�}
"Requirements - (Fire Ca tain)
1. A minimum of £ive ) years experience with the
Lynxood Fire Department AND at least two (2) years
in grade as a fire engineer.��
SECTION 3; That the classification descri.ptions for Police Captain
. and Assistant FS.re Chief be amended to read:
"Requirements - (Police Ca tain)
1, P. minimum of seven 7 years experience xith the
Lynwood Police Department I�ND at least two (2) years
in grade as a police Lieutenant."
"Requirements (Assistant Fire Chief)
1. A minimvm of seven 7 years experience with the
Lynwood Fire Department AND at least. two (2) years
in grade as a fire captain.«
