RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD WITfIDRAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND ANNEXED
TO SAID CITY OF LYN�900D FROM THE ATHENS LIGHTING
DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of a certain area of land to said City o£ Lynwood, as hereinafter
described, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Streets and Highways Code,
Division 14, Part 4, Chapte� 16 of the Highway Lighting District Act
provides that whenever any portion of a district is included within
a city by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from
the district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described area of land lying within .
said Athens Lighting District of Los Angeles County be, and the same
is hereby declared withdrawn from said district:

Atlantic Avenue Annexation No. 3 748 July 16 1g63
Beginning at a point in the easterly line of the Lynwood
city boundary as said boundary existed on February 26 1g63 said
' point being the southeast corner of Lot 72, Tract No 7984 as
shown on map recorded in Map Book 90, pages 34, 35 and 36, Records
of Los Angeles County, State of California; thence South 70 571
50" East 135 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 163 of said tract;
thenee North 19 OOI� East 180 feet to the northeast corner of Lot
165 of said tract; thence North 7,0 57t 50" West along the northerly
line of said Lot 165 and the westerly prolongation thereof 135 feet
to the easterly line of said Lynwood city boundary; thence South'19
OOT West 180 feet to the point of beginning,
BE IT FURTi�R RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
ordered to file copies of this resolution with the State Board, of

Equalization, the County Board of Supervisors, and the County
Assessor.
