RESOLUTION NO.01-17
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF
A PLAT FOR CHRISTOPHER T. DAHL
WHEREAS, Christopher T. Dahl (the "Applicant") is the owner of property located at 2662
Hamel Road (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicant wishes to subdivide the Property, which contains 38.38 acres,
into two lots; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission reviewed the proposed plat on March 13, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the city council considered the proposed plat on March 20, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that preliminary approval be granted to the Applicant's plat of the Property, subject to
the following terms and conditions:
1. Lot 2 must gain access via an easement over the flag portion of Lot 1;
2. The final plat must provide for standard drainage and utility easements around all lot
lines;
3. The final plat must dedicate to the city 30 feet of right-of-way for Hamel Road;
4. The Applicant must submit title evidence acceptable to the city attorney prior to
approval of the final plat;
5. The final plat must be in conformance with state law, city ordinances and the
preliminary plat, except as required by this resolution;
6. The Applicant must pay the city an administrative fee in the amount necessary to
reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and
7. The final plat must be submitted to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the
date of approval of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Carolyn
Smith and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Lane, Smith, Workman, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
