CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.01-20
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Medina Police Department enter into an agreement with
the, Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Technical Support Services, a Joint
Powers Agreement to increase or utilize the infrastructure of the Criminal Justice Data Network
(CJDN). Minnesota Department of Public Safety is providing additional hardware to the agency.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Edgar Belland, Chief of Police for the Medina
Police Department, is hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to
implement the project on behalf of the City of Medina Police Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Paul Robinson, Administrator -Clerk -Treasurer,
City of Medina, is hereby authorized to be the fiscal agent and administer this Joint Powers
Agreement on behalf of the City of Medina Police Department.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jim Lane
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Lane, Smith, Workman, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
