HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 1990-01-11 - CC_spE 3s~ SPECIAL JOINT MEETING CITY COUNCIL AND REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY JANUARY 11, 1990 The City Council and Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lynwood met in a special joint session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 5:34 p.m. Mayor/Chairman Henning in the chair. Councilmembers Heine, Rea, Richards, Wells, Henning answered the !"- roll call. ~ Agency Members Heine, Rea, Richards, dells, Henning answered the roll call. Also present were City Manager/Executive Director Gomez, City Clerk/Secretary Hooper. presentatior. Interim Community Development Director Karefa-Johnson, General ~pT"~~p]a Plan Consultant John Davidson, and Planning Manager Aubrey Fenderson made presentation to Council/Agency on the three alternative Land Use Patterns for the General Plan Update. After presentation, Council/Agency requested staff make blank maps for their use and study in order to better make a decision as there were a number of changes they wished to make. After discussion, It was unanimously agreed to hold a Special Meeting on January 25, 1990, at 5:30 p.m. at Bateman Hall. Council/Agency Member Wells questioned the amount of money ERC requested for reimbursement payment to Economic Resources Corpora- discussic tion for the construction of public improvements pursuant to the Owner Participation Agreement of February 19, 1982. Also questioned where was the backup material to substantiate the item. Mayor/Chairman Henning discussed land purchased by the County and the improvement costs. Council/Agency Member Richards questioned if there was still work that had to be completed. Mike Montoya, Kane, Balmer, Berkman, explained what had happened up to the present time with the County purchase of the land. After further discussion, Item to be brought back at the first meeting in February, 1990. Thee was no further business and it was moved by Council/Agency Member Rea, seconded by Council/Agency Member Heine to adjourn. ••-~ MAYOR CHAIRMAN APPROVED CITY CLERK SECRETARY
