� OF LYNWOOD REQUESTING THE'BOARD OF�.SUPERVISORS ,
, OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO PERMIT THE
REGISTRAR OF V'OTERS 'ON' SP_ID COUTdTY T0:'RENDER .
, SPECIFIED SER4ICES TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, .
RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF ThE GENERAL MUIQICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD_IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 10, 1962.
� '� WHEREAS, a general inunicipal eleetion is to be held in
. the City o£ Lynwood on April 10, 1962, and
WHEREAS, in -the course of conduct of said election and in
relation thereto,.it will be necessary to mail sample'ballots and
polling place cards to the registered voters of the city, and•it
, will facilitate.such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of �the County
of Los Angeles will,iinprint,naraes and addresses of the registered
. y � voters of said city. and the location of the polling places, and .
insert s,aid sampla ballots and polling place cards into�envelopes,
. arid � .
WHEREAS� all necessary supplies in"performing thi's service
� shall be approved by and furnished to said Registrar of Voters by the
City of,Lynwood, and • .
, WHEFtEAS, all.necessary expense in performing this service
shall be by the City of Lynwood, ' _ �
' ' NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood `
' does hereby resolve, determine, and order as follows:
• Section 1. That it is deemed economical and satisfactorg
.to the City Council of the City of Lynwood the Registrar of Voters .
of the County of Los Angeles imprint the names and addresses of the
registered voters of said city and location of polling on �
. insert sheets furnished by the city� and�insert said sample ballots
and'polling place cards in mailing envelopes,furnished by the city.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the Elections Code of
, the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board
;''• of Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles to permit the Fiegistrar
of Voters of said County to render sizch,services to the city in con-
nection with the conduct of said election to be heTd on April 10, 1962.

_ � Section 2. That"the City shall reimburse the County in
full for the services perfoMned,'upon presentation to the City o£
a properly approv'ed bill from said County.
. . Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
forward, without delay, to said Board of Supervisors and to said
Registrar of Voters a certified copy of this resolution.
