RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO .��TE DRY AND DRYING
WEEDS ON CERTAIN P�RCELS OF LAND IN THE CI�Y OF
LYNWpOD,
Wf�REAS, Chapter 13 of the Government Code, cited as
"Iaeed and Rubbish �ibatement" provides for abatement of dry and drying
weeds that constitute a nuisance, and
'�REAS, it has been brought to tne attention of the City��
Council of the City of Ly�wood by the Superinterident of Streets that
there exists a public nuisance on certain parcels'of land in the City
of Lynwood, as hereinafter more particularly described,
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
l. That a public nuisance exists upon the parcels of land,
lots, or portions of lots set forth below:
Modjeska Acres: Lots 5, 6, 9, 16, 25, 26 and 64.
Belle Vernon Acres: Lots 21 and 24 of Block 15.

said notices to be postec7 in the time, form and manner required by law.
3. That the proceedings for aforesaid work sha11 be taken
under an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated
as the Government Code, Chapter 13, Sections j9501 et seq „ cited as
� "Weed and Rubbish 9�batement," and amendments thereto'. ,
�+. Notice is hereby given that on Tueaday, the 20th day of
March 1962 at the hour of 7:30 p,m., in th� Council Chambers of the
City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City of Lynwood, any and all
p�rsons having any objections or protests to said proposed work may
appear before said City Council and �how cause why said proposed work '
