HomeMy Public PortalAbout16-9212 Develop a Benefits Package for the City Officers Sponsored by: Commissioner Kelley RESOLUTION NO. 16-9212 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY AND ITS STAFF TO DEVELOP A BENEFITS PACKAGE FOR CITY OFFICERS (CITY CLERK, CITY MANAGER AND IN-HOUSE CITY ATTORNEY) TO BE UNIFORMLY APPLIED; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The City does not have a uniformed benefits package for City officers (City Clerk, City Manager and In-house City Attorney); and WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to establish a uniformed benefits package for City Officers (City Clerk, City Manager and In-house City Attorney); and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference; Section 2. The City Attorney shall establish a uniformed benefits package for City officers (City Clerk, City Manager and In-House City Attorney), and shall bring the same back to the City Commission for approval within 45 days of the date of this resolution.
