RESOLUTION NO. 16-9212
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY AND ITS STAFF TO DEVELOP A BENEFITS
PACKAGE FOR CITY OFFICERS (CITY CLERK, CITY
MANAGER AND IN-HOUSE CITY ATTORNEY) TO BE
UNIFORMLY APPLIED; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City does not have a uniformed benefits package for City
officers (City Clerk, City Manager and In-house City Attorney); and
WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to establish a uniformed benefits
package for City Officers (City Clerk, City Manager and In-house City Attorney);
and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Attorney shall establish a uniformed benefits package for
City officers (City Clerk, City Manager and In-House City Attorney), and
shall bring the same back to the City Commission for approval within 45 days
of the date of this resolution.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
