RESOLUTION NO. 16-9213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO CONDUCT A FEASIBILTY STUDY ON THE
OUTSOURCING CERTAIN CITY RELATEFD FUNCTIONS
AND SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City is experiencing financial challenges; and
WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of the City to study the feasibility of
outsourcing certain City related functions and services; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to conduct a feasibility study
on outsourcing/privatizing certain City related functions and services.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
