HomeMy Public PortalAbout023-2011 - Zoning - Amending zoning map R2 toORDINANCE 23-2011 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM MEDIUM DENSITY SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R2) DISTRICT TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 3955 US 27 North (Chester Boulevard) and legally described as follows, to wit: PT NW SEC 16-14 1 4.33A as a Medium Density Single -Family Residential (R2) District as outlined on Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to change the zoning designation to a General Commercial (GC) District to allow the correction of the zoning so that it is consistent with the proposed land use of Medical Service Offices. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the above -described property is changed to a General Commercial (GC) District. Passed and adopted this 161h day of May 2011, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
