THE CLASSIFICATION DESCRIPTIONS TO INCLUDE
THE.CLASS OF PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AND TO .
DELETE FROM SAID DESCRIPTIONS THE CLASS OF - �-
CITY ENGINEER. � .
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as'follows: � '
" A re-eva.lua,tion o£_the cla.ssifica.tion of City Engineer
in relation,to the duties and responsibilities of the position
as.it exists"definit'ely indicates a need for a new title that
more a.ccura.tely describes the positioiz; Wherea,s_:the existing -
classification limits the responsibility of�the position to the
� supervision, direction and control of the Engineering Depa.rtment
only;.the actual duties of the class requires the genera,l sLipervision,
' �direction and control of all of the public works departments. ,This
responsibility is more appropriately a.ssigned to the classifica.tion
