RESOLUTION ABANDONING�THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
OF LOS FLORES BOULEVARD BETWEEN LONG BEACH BOULE-
�
VARD AND CALIFORNIA AVENUE BY THE WIDENING OF
' SAID BOULEVARD, TOGETHER WITH ALL INCIDENTAL AND
APPURTENANT�WORK.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 3rd day of July 1g62 adopt its Resolution No. 62-46 aporoving
the report o£ the City Engineer and fixing tlie time of hearing in
the matter of the proposed improvement of Los Flores Boulevard be-
tween Long Beach Boulevard and California Avenue, and
WI�REAS, the City Clerk of said city has presented and
filed his affidavit of mailing notice of said hearing on debt limit
report in the time, form, and manner, and to the persons, all as pro-
vided by an act of the Legislature of the State of California, desig-
nated as Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code and cited as
the "Special Assessment Investigation Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931," and amendments thereto, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer-Superintendent of Streets has
heretofore presented and filed an affidavit showing that notices of
the passage of said Resolution o£ Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said Act, and
' WHEREAS, Tuesday, the 21st day of August 1962 at the hour
of 7:30 p.m, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in,said City of
Lynwood was the time and place set in said Resolution when and where
any objections to the proposed work or improvement or to the extent
of the district to be assessed would be heard by said City Council, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing held on the 21st day of August 1g62
majority protests were filed againet the things proposed under
Resolution No. 62-46
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the said City Council has considered all facts

and testimony and in the best interest of all par.ties concerned,
declares this improvement to be abandoned and that no further pro-
ceedings as outlined in said Resolution No. 6z-46 shall be taken for
a period of one year from this date, a11 as provided in Part 6,
Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, cited as the "Improvement
Act of 1911."
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of August, 1962.
