A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUTtCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNW00D DECLARING ITS IPdTENTIODi TO ORDER
STREET LIGHTING MODIFICATION ON A PORTION OF
ATLANTIC AVENUE IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR
. A PERIOD BEGINNING JULY 1 1963 AND ENDING .
JuivE 30, 1966. .
� Tlie City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the public interest and convenience
require, a,nd it is the intention of the City Council.of the City
of Lynwood to order the furnishing of necessary materials to
modify the street lighting syatem ma.de up of 115 orna.mental ,
standards on Atlantic Avenue in�the City of Lynwood within the
�, . .
district described in Section 2 hereof and to be known as "Street
Lighting Modification District.No. 1 of,the City`of Lynwood."
Reference is_hereby made to Plan No. 1962-R and Specifications
No. 1962-R on file�in the office of the City C1erk of said city. .
Section 2 . That the exterior boundary of the district
to be benefited therefrom and to be assessed to pay the costs a,nd
expenses thereof to be known as 'said assessment district is des-
cribed a.s follows:
Those properties lying within the following described
exterior boundary..line, to-wit: , ,
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 187 of' Traet
No. 8716 as shown on map recorded in Book 1tE5, pages 63 and 64
I of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California, said point of
beginning being on the easterly line of the first alley West of
Atlantic Avenue; thenc'e North along sa.id easterly line to the
intersection of the South line o£ Imperial Highway; thence Northea.st�
in a direct line to the intersection of the North line of Imperia,l
Highway with.the East line of Tract rro. 5103 as shovan on maps
recorded in Book 53, pege 55 of Ma.ps, Records of Los Angeles County,
Ca,lifornia; thence North along said ea,sterly line to the South line
of Abbott Road; thence Northeast in a direct line to the Southwest
• cbrner of Lot 15, Tract tvo. 77g7, as per map recorded in Book 114,
pages 85 and 86 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California.,
said point o£ intersection being in the East line of the first alley
West of Atlantic Avenue; thence northerly along said easterly line
to the Northwest corner of Lot 18 of said tract; thence.easterly
along the North line of sa.id lot to the Northeast corner of said lot,

said point being on the West line of Avenue; thence ea,sterly
, in a. direct line to�the Northwest corner of Lot 15,•said point being
in the East line of Atlantic Avenue; thence East on the North line
of sa.id lot to the Northeast corner of said lot, said point being in
the West line of the first alley Ea,st of,Atlantic Avenue;•.thence South
along said easterly line in a.11 its courses to the intersection of the
. North line of Fernwocd Avenue; thence westerly along said northerly
line to the point of beginning.
Section 3. That the said contemplated improvement shall
be for a period of three (3� years, commencing July 1, 1963 and be
� had and taken under the provisions of Division 14, Part I of the
Streets and Highways Code, cited as the "Street Lighting Act of 1919,
