CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.01-45
RESOLUTION ORDERING TRUNK HIGHWAY 55 AND
WILLOW DRIVE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to council action, a public hearing was set for August 21, 2001 at
7:30 p.m. in the Medina city council chambers on the proposed Trunk Highway 55 and Willow
Drive intersection improvement project; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given and the hearing was held as scheduled, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were
given an opportunity to address the council thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The proposed improvement of the Trunk Highway 55 and Willow Drive
intersection, including signalization of the intersection, realignment of Willow Drive and other
roadways and closure of certain accesses to T.H. 55, is hereby ordered.
2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik, & Associates are hereby designated as city engineer
for the improvement.
3. It is the judgment of the city council that the proposed improvement has no
relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Carolyn
Smith and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Lane, Smith, Workman, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
