RESOLUTION N0. 62-83 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF � LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 62-44 TO PROVIDE OVERTIME PAY FOR POLICE PERSONNEL UNDER SPECIFIC CONDITIONS. - The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve � as follows: Section 1 : Due to the resignations of �officers in the Police Department it is necessary to assign an inordinate an�ount of overtime to'remaining personnel in order•to ma,intain adequa,te strength. Section 2 :' Due to the amount of overtime required it is impossible to grant compensa,ting time off for those working,extra. . shifts within a reasonable period; therefore, Resolution No. 62-44.is amended to provide overtime pa.y in the Police Department on an esta.blished shift-pay basis when, in the opinion of the Appointing Authority, such overtime is deemed necessary to maintain an effective manpower level, shift to be granted at the regular per shift rate established in Resolution No. 62-44 adopted by the City Council on July 3, 1962. � APPROVED axzd ADOPTID this 20th day of November, 1962. . _ i- ` t ( ��1�Y12�iL" /'y1��2d�J'i���12�' �, "" MAYOR OF TY OF LY OOD � A est: .
