RESOLUTION OF THE CIT'I COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTASN PROPERT"� IN THE
UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
� ANGELES LYING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAVINIA AVENUE
BETWEEN ATLANTIC AVENUE AND THORSODT AVENUE
(A�'I,ANTIC AVENUE ANNEXATION N0. 1.).
WHEREAS, the City Couneil of the City of Lynwood did bf
Resolution No. 62-68 adopted on the 16th day of October, 1962, duly
give notice of and fixed the 4th dav of December, 1962, at the hour
of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Aall, 11j30 Bullis
Road, Lynwood, CaliFornia, as the da�, hour and place when and where
an� person owning realkpropertJ in such territory so proposed Lo be
annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation might
appear before said Cit� Council and show cause why such territorv
-� ehould not be so annexed, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 62-68 was published in the
L�rnwood Press, a newspaper'of general circulation, printed and
published in the City of Lynwood, and also in the Hera�d American,
, a newspaper of general circulation published outside the City o£
Lynwood but in the county in which is located the territory proposed
to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, written notice of said proposed annexation was i
mailed to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to I,
be annexed was assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll
at the address shown on said assessment roll and,
WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the dag, hour and
place and in the manner as set forth in said Resolution No. 62 and
WHEREAS, no protests have been filed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,b� the Citf Council of the
Cit,T of L,,�nwood as follows:
Section 1. That protests have.not been made by a majority

of the owners of property within the area proposed to be annexed to
the Citv of Lynwood. • '
Section 2. That the City Council does hereby approve said
proposed annexation of the unincorporated territory of the County of
Los Angeles lving on the south side of Lavinia Avenue between
Atlantic Avenue and Thorson Avenue, known as "Atlantie Avenue
Annexation No, 1"_and more particularl�T described in said Resolution
No. 62-68.
