RES�LUTION N0. 62-86
. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING THE WORK AND
LEVYING THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE MODIFICATION
OF STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM ON ATLANTIC AVENUE IN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD,
. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lvnwood,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Couneil of the Citzr of Lynwood, California,
did on the 7th day of November, lg6z adopt Resolution No. 62-77 fixing
the time and place for a hearing in the matter of Street Ligh�ii�g

Modification'District No. 1 of the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, all interested persons were given £ul1 opportunit�a
to present their protests or objections, and ,
WHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the publication
and posting of notice o£ said hearing in the time, form, and manner
required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council, after due considera-
tion of all such objec'tions and protests; does .hereby overrule and
� deny any such protests and objections and each of them to the work or

improvement to be done within said Street Lighting.Modification District
No. 1 as described in Resolution of Intention No. 61-76 of said city
and to the proposed assessment. therefor; and does hereb� confirm and
adopt as a whole, unmodified, the assessment and report as described
in�said Resolution of Intention No. 62-76, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest and con-
venience demands and requires,and thia City Couneil does hereb,a order
the said contemplated improvement to be made in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor, adopted and approved, and the Cit�r
Council does hereby levy the said proposed assessment made to cover
the costs and eYpenses of said improvement upon the respective sub-
divisions of land in said district and as fixed bJ the proposed re;5ort

and assessment heretofore filed in the office of the City Clerk, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City C1erk of the City of
Lynwood is hereb�r ordered to transmit to County of Los Angeles
tax collector the diagram and assessment upon which such levy is ,
based and said County Tax Collector is hereby authorized and directed
to make collections of all such assessment°, and to perform all the
' acts and duties as are required of said act to be performed by the
persons designated as ° Tax Collector" in Chapter 6 of the Street
Lighting Aet of 191g, as amended.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of December, 1g62.
