RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES LYII�G ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAVINIA AVENUE
B�T"v7EEN A'IZANTIC AVENUE AND THORSON AVENUE
(ATLANTIC AVENUE ANNEXATION N0. 2).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did by
Resolution No. 62-73, adopted on the 7th day of November, 1962, duly
give notice of and fixed the 18th day of December, 1962 at the hour
of v:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis
Road, Lynwood, California, as the day, hour and place when and where
any person owning real;rproperty in such territory so proposed to be
annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation mi�ht
appear before said City Council and show cause why such territory
should- not be so annexed, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 62-73 was published in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of Lynwood, and also in the Herald American, a
newspaper of general circulation published outside the City of Lynwood
but in the county in which is located the territory proposed to be
annexed, and
WHEREAS, written notice of said proposed annexation was
mailed to each person to whorn land within the territory, proposed to
be annexed was assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll
at the address shown on said assessment roll, and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the day, hour and
place and in the manner as set forth in said Resolution No. 62-73 and
WHEREAS, no protests have been filed,
N�W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
. Secti 1. That protests have not been made by a majority

of the owners of property within the area proposed to be annexed to
the City of Lynwood.
S�ction 2 . That the City Council does' hereby approve said
proposed annexation of the unincorporated territory of the County of
Los Angeles lying on the south side of Lavinia Avenue between
Atlantic Avenue arid Thorson Avenue, known as "Atlantic Avenue
Annexation No. 2" and more particularly described in said Resolution
No. 62-73. '
